It was an awesome weekend for me, the weather was good, tracks were dry. Only the southern branch was open due to a slip at the start of the northern end (meant to be cleared away in the next couple of weeks, according to the doc guy at the gate, should be open by the next weekend). Met Jatz and Mrs Jatz Camped next to the palmers hut at the end of the southern branch. A few pics

I'll do a RR sorta thing over on my other thread,
Did you get to Quil flat Cromagnon ? We rode down Seymor or Herring or Heron stream ( seems to have a couple of names) to the Clarence and got to Quail flat that way.

No didnt make it to quil flat, just looked at the locked gate and turned back. On sunday morning we spent a few hours exploring the river system near palmers bivy (we couldnt actually find where it was). Were you able to get to where the slip was?

We left our gear at palmer hut for the morning (one green tent/one blue tent) and made it into here. This next photo was the result of a 1m long peice of muddy track
