Thanking AMCC RND 3

Just want to offer my thanks and appreciations to all the AMCC guys and gals that were involved with the meeting yesterday.
Officials, marshalls, time keepers, track workers etc ... thanks to you all. I was really impressed with the whole event. From the lovely young lady on the dummy grid who kept smiling right through a long hot day to the poor sods who had to sweep up and remove copious amounts of oil, dead bikes and debri ... cheers to you.
Awesome day despite some unfortunate incidents.

Yup....two well run meetings in a row! Better be careful you will make a habit of it!

Really good to see some changes made for the better....the #1 being transponders being used. It makes it an expensive day out but you certainly feel like you get your moneys worth and helps make the show run smoothly.

One complaint though...someone who now owes me a beer put the white flag out a lap early in the first F1 race...I made an overtaking move on Karl M (an awesome one I might add) on what I thought was the last lap and we were side by side dragging to the finish line and were too busy (trying to pull up before the sand) to look for the flag which apparently was another white flag!? I went around the rest of that lap thinking the race was over and was confused as I raised my hand to pull into the pits when everyone carried on! It was too dangerous to pull back out again thought so I got a DNF.....hmmmmmm....anyway, it was a fun race regardless.

Compared to the first round this round was 100 times better. Glad to see the AMCC got over the initial teething problems with racing at Hampton Downs, even though it's STILL a building site.

Thanks to all involved. It was a great day.

Good oil clean up job, didn't once have an issue even though I did once brake on it as I was all over the show trying to figure out braking markers.

Like Biggles said, please try and sort the flags out, R1 had me slow down and loose a spot because I got shown the white flag twice. But that aside, good show. Loved it and can't wait for R4 - it seems like ages away.

yup it happend at the nats this year a few times in the south island and out came the rule book and it doesnt matter how many times the white flag goes out

Had an awesome day and thanks for an excellent event, well organised, prompt action on clean ups with minimal delays and we still got all three races in.

I wish Brendan a speedy full recovery after is massive off.

The best rule to follow is always race until the chequred flag.
The piss poor standard of bike numbering must make it damb near impossible to judge who's coming at ya if your on the start finish line. Its been debated over and over again re the concern of visability of numbers.
