I thought I might turn up to keep NoMates hands off the jetbox so he actually finishes..
Then none of you wankers will stand a chance, cos if the thing doesnt blast past you on the straight, then he will ride over the top of you in a corner.

For everyone's information, he isn't talking about me. The full name of the person referred to is Nigel NoMates.

    thats about right

the only thing saving us is he keeps blowing it up
or getting himself knocked off and braking the bike

Ahh he'd told me he might not make it this year. Would be good to see him get a decent go on a long track.

    Welcome to the site Wayne.

Nomates engine layout was designed around 32crank Hp as he didnt want to rev it past 12500, this theoretically should be around 28RWHP and it was, from the first day on the dyno.
The MB100 setup was to peak at around 13000 and should do 35 crank from memory ( it was 4 years ago i did the numbers), so by rights would be just over 30RWHp if everything was done properly - and it pretty much has been obviously..

Kev and I have been mates for many years - I did the bucket pipe design for him as a favour,so there was and is no "war" going on,but, he knows full well that 4 strokes suck shit and making money off them is the only job he can get because I do 2 strokes better.

Well Just got back from the Dyno and no so happy. 25.3hp but its all up the top. It hated the wobbly megaphone. I gained 1.5 hp and got rid of a big reversion type dip in the middle by putting the old pipe back on. Also spurng a leak on the gear shaft. Long story short the old engine is going back in. It makes about 4 more hp at 8000 and only one less at the top. Fucken engines!

Yeh there is potential there. Still apples to apples it has almost 8 more hp than when we started.

Use the design Swiss gave your brother, Ive run it through the simulator and cant beat it for spread of power plus the reverse cone should go some way to easing the megaphonics. Speed Wobbles pipe had to much angle and was always going to knock the midrange (but I was curious to see the result). Have a look at some of the old Honda papers (yeah i know they're old but who has developed it further?)anything more than 4 degrees reflects a Positive returning wave which is just to short.
Get welding man, you are the four stroke hope, nothing less than a wide 25hp is going to cut it!
