    Problems connecting

and staying connected. Is anyone else having trouble with their access to KB today? It was timing out this morning for me at home but we have a crappy PC so I put it down to that. However I have been using a really up to date PC today and I have not been able to access KB from here either. It gives the error message "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading". I managed to log on just now, but when I went to "What's New" it displayed the error mesage again, I hit the back button on the browser and managed to post this. I use IE at home and here it is Firefox.

    Any ideas?

Same problems here, started last night. can't log on but will if i go direct to the forum page by google.
and the page wont complete the loading, but my work mate has no problems at all.

All other pages from other web sites load first time with no hassles so its not our system.

The only way I actually got on here was via a google searcg for the site, I wonder if the PC cache is holding on to something that is stopping the connection? And yes it started last night for me too.

I went to view my quote notification and could not, I have had to go back to the forum to find the thread to reply to you, agreed it is getting frustrating. Still at least I am not alone, that helps

I'd be interested to know who your ISP is.
Though not 100% sure, I think KB is actually hosted offshore. Certain ISP's have been having bandwidth issues with international traffic lately......

I've had the same issue with a lot of international sites, yet nz hosted ones are fine...

At home I am with Telecom, I dont know about here. I dread the thought of ringing the UnHelpful desk if it is ISP related, it tends to turn me a tiny bit postal when I do that

Start by dumping all ya Temporary Internet Files and Cookies, delete all saved passwords, re-boot and try again

Site seems stable to my browsers (I use 3) and is giving solid stable response times to constant ping, getting no major time delays on Tracert path, so my guess is its a specific ISP affected, or your PCs cached files are messing with ya Anne

FYI- remote PC support is my profession, I deal with 10-15 such calls a day.

Working fine for me too. At times the KB site has been slow lately, but no issues otherwise. As StoneY says, try deleting your browsing history and clearing cache.
