Thumbs up MAG-NZ Auckland. Arise my pretties.

MAG-NZ now has another Contingent, the Auckland contingent. This will be the country's premiere MAG-NZ Contingent, we WILL do things, Bigger, Better and Faster or we will bust our collective Dorkland butts trying.
There is already a nucleus of some 12 existing MAG-NZ members including a number of founding MAG-NZ members. This group has the potential to make MAG-NZ. aka:MAG-Auckland ROCK.
    First item of agenda.
MAG-Auckland will hold it's first meeting on Tuesday the 14th December 2010 at 7pm.
At the Cardrona Speights Ale House.
Situated at number 37 Normanby Road Mt Eden.
    Go here for further details.

    http://www.viewauckland.co.nz/pubsandba ... 58356.html

All MAG-NZ Auckland area memebrs are invited and in fact are expected to attend. Why expected? Because we want your input and your ideas, we want your commitment to riding to events both the protest sort and the have fun enjoying a day out with the others sort.In short you are MAG-Auckland/NZ this is your organisation come and have a say in how it's done.

    This meeting will be as fromal as it needs to be, we will need to appoint a VP/assistant group rep, secretary, a financial controller {subject to overall MAG-NZ monetary policy}
A Sgt at Arms, a membership officer, and an events co-ordinator.
First item of agenda as proposed by myself.
Establish a good "CENTRAL" meeting point where as bikers we will be looked after and accomodated.
People put your thinking caps on.
Room to park up, close to where we will be.
Space for us and our attending MAG-NZ membership to relax in and talk BS about bikes and our next events.
This venue's management will be approached and asked for special considerations for Bikers particularly on those days when we meet, but also as a general thing, our meeting venue will become a MAG-Auckland StrongHold, this wil naturally work both ways, MAG-NZ members will be expected to frequent the place often and to bring friends along.
This venue will be advertsied as MAG-NZ friendly on our Web page/thread.
For now that is enough to contend with before Christmas, I feel.
So bring your ideas for where we will be based as MAG-Auckland.
Bring your nominations for the officers as I've outlined above.
    Bring yourselves and get involved.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

Deus said no to us for our launch (there loss) because it now could come back bite em' on the arse in the guise of a regular spot.

O'Hagens should the place of choice, they were brilliant towards us at a meeting there once before and is now the place for our committee meeting. Easy access for bikes (except those with panniers) and just on half way to...45 mins for us.

Great first post Mark, support is granted ...

    Congrats guys.

All the best. Let us know if you need any advice or help from the BRONZ Welly guys. We've certainly learned a few things in the last year we've happy to share (on what NOT to do LOL!)
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I have a hell work day and I have to pick up my son sometime around then. But I will do my best to make it!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

    No worries Rickster.
Well for a one days notice of a brand new MAG- (09) Auckland meeting, we didn't do too badly.
While our attending numbers werre small, we nevertheless got into some very heavily debated discussions. All who attended thought that it was a worthwhile meeting and will be back for the next one.
Notice of the next MAG-Auckland (09) meeting will be placed in MAG-NZ's forums, here at KB on this thread, face book and the other one.
Come along and listen to whats happening in your area, say what you think you'd like to see your local MAG-NZ actually doing and who knows it just might happen.
