    Place in Taupo to stay

If anyone has any suggestions as to where I could stay on Tuesday and Wednesday this week coming I would be very grateful

I have just arrived back and need to get to a test day ASAP as I have new race bike whick has 2 more storkes than I am used to.

The next test day is on wed so am hoping to head there Tues afternoon stay that night and wed and drive home on the thurs morning

    Hostels/motels/floors all good
Even for only one of the nights would be sweet

    Thanks

We stayed at Flashpackers when we were there, but there´s a gang pad over the road and they partied all night and were still partying at 7am the next day, so you might want to avoid that place.... midweek might be ok. It´s a nice enough place with nice enough folks. Shame about the neighbours though

I'd say that you'd be welcome to stay here with Lynne and I - but Pete would probably burst a blood vessel.

+1 for camilla court, not flash at all but cheap as, an I never had bad experience there apart from when a lot dirty m/bike racers turned up and made me drink beer. Damn them.

if you don't need to keep the bike with you and just need a place to stay then the Nomads Backpackers joint aint too bad. Cheap if you don't mind sharing a room, and they have girls only rooms too.

Maybe hit up Kiwifruit, he's a friendly fellow but I think he might have a full house already.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Off peak most are cheap enough, but i say +2 for clamidia...i mean camellia court pretty consistant with the pricing and close to the track !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
