520-17 front sprocket and chain?

Hi Guys

I was wondering whether any of you would have an old 520-17 front sprocket and almost munted 525 chain lying around?

I just got myself a 92 ZR750, which runs 15T front and 39T rear sprockets, but it revs too high on the highway for my liking. I'd like to experiment with a 17T front as according to a calc I downloaded this should give me the desired revs, but I can't tell if it'll kill too much of the low down grunt.

I've been told I'd probably need a new chain as well as the existing one isn't likely to have enough slack to take up the extra 2t on the front, and if its got a new front and chain that means it'd be best to throw a new rear on as well, say goodbye to $350 on a hope that the old girl will still pull well enough with this gearing.

Anyway I'm hoping one of you guys might be able to help me out with something lying around so I can confirm this before forking out for a new set.

I've done some cross referencing, and apparently the sprocket I want is also used on GXS-R750 00-10 and also GSX-R1000 01-08 when the 525 chain conversion is done.
