If I went through with it they said they would be interested to know how it went. probably to advertise it fits A models too

stainless headers? those aren't standard how did you get those?
They came with the bike. you need to find someone else with a "C" and have a look. at the mufflers. mine wont help as it's now completely different

Your stainless/chromed headers are from a naked version of a zxr called a balius.

IMO it'd be worth while spending an extra $50-100 to get the mounting angle re-engineered anyway. It's on a silly angle and if you made it run more parallel with the fairing it'd look better.

$251USD is cheap for a good pipe from a reputable company.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

that was the only explanation that had come to mind for me, i suppose theres always the chance they could be custom or from a bike that was close enough and only required little modification to fit... who knows this bikes are so old the stories behind the mods done to them are lost in time... my front fairing has two cut out and then reshaped with fiber glass (you can tell from behind) round holes that look really cool with some mesh in them on the right and left side of my headlights... now WTF are they for? I have not the faintest clue what anybody intended for that, but they are there.

I certainly thought so, I had a few mufflers in mind but this seems to be the most bang for buck, and I have seen some of their work on the odd tyga cbr250s you run into here in NZ and I trust their quality. so I feel its not money thrown away...

on the angle thing... that had never even crosses my mind... I am a more visual person though, is that a common mod if I googled it would it come up so i can have a look? suppose theres only one way to find that out

at that price ($325NZD) it IS a pretty good deal, but perhaps it would be worthwhile giving Virgin mufflers a call and get one custom made and fitted for approx $400 NZD? It removes all the guesswork, and perhaps they've fitted one before.n They can also do a "re-skin" if you get another dent

redbaron does has a ZXR250C listed http://www.redbaron.co.nz/details.as...cle_id=1131371 if you want to go measure one (no other shops in auckland appear to have any)

pop on a fresh air filter and get it rejetted to get full benefit from the pipe

and on that... it doesn't look like a zxr 750 at all though... i think they may have once been some kind of air intake but i really dont know theres no pipes or tubes coming to or from it, have a look.

Sorry if its not that clear, its the best my phone could do, they are on next to each light, they look professionally done.
