    Crazy sister

I have a sister who lives in Denver Colorado. She's a little crazy at times. My brother has been visiting there recently and brought back these two anecdotes that illustrate the crazy bit...

    1. She has this little poodle. One day, on the long leash, it ran into a lift just as the door was closing, trapping itself inside. The lift proceeded in an upwards direction, dog aboard, still connected to the leash. Luckily the leash was one of those long jobs and was long enough to reach to the next floor, where, fortunately, the lift stopped...much panic from sister as you can imagine...just as well the lift didn't go to the tenth floor...

    2. Sister is driving on one of the motorways around Denver. She couldn't find her sun glasses, so in her wisdom, put on her swimming goggles instead and proceeded on her way. This caused some consternation amongst her fellow commuters - as she said "especially when I put my snorkel out the window as well..."

Luckily, I'm the sane one in the family...

Cats land on their feet. Toast lands jamside down.
A cat glued to some jam toast will hover in quantum indecision

Curiosity was framed; ignorance killed the cat

Fix a computer and it'll break tomorrow.
Teach its owner to fix it and it'll break in some way you've never seen before.
