    ZXR fork seal replacement

Hi, I'm in the process of replacing my fork seals, I've partly dismantled one fork and drained the oil. I need to unscrew the Allen bolt from the bottom of the inner tube, I don't have the special tool - fork cylinder holder. My question is - is it safe to use a rattle gun? (if the internals spin) Thanks for any help.
    Straight down the middle

A 1/2 inch drive rattle gun with lots of start torque is ok to use. If its stubborn reassemble the fork spring and get someone to compress the fork while you use the rattle gun. If its really stubborn warm it in the immediate area with a heat gun.

And dont use cheap high friction seals! NOK brand, ARI or genuine are the only ones we trust
