Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes
"Good afternoon. Just wondering if you know just what I just pulled you over for........ No? I just recorded that you were speeding. Just how fast do you think you were going?.... And is there any just-ification for travelling this fast?... Now I'm just going to need to see your licence. Just wait a minute while I check this out in my patrol car. I'll be back in just a tick.... Now, sir, do you know that your WOF has just expired just the other day?... Meow

" Life is not a rehearsal, it's as happy or miserable as you want to make it"
I have no problem with being ticketed for speeding, more often than not I deserve it (once I thought what a tosser ticket for speeding),and the 5km tolerance for me was nothing,I sat on 110km-115km never got pinged.
What annoys me is Paula Rose saying the speed of 5km tolerance worked, and gave the primo reason of "cars were travelling slower, and no need to pass"or words to effect, wtf planet is she on,how can cars travelling at 90km,be safe when 7 cars are banked up behind, simply because the little old lady is scared to go faster and get caught. This was scenario we encountered up in Waikato, along with usual 90km then hit passing lane and they speed up,education needed, dunno these were elderly drivers.
I think the elderly should have two options for driving when hitting 70yr or 75yr,if you wish to travel on highway you prove you can operate the vehicle at 100km,if not get a limited license for travel upto 70km in town areas only.
