    Scratched up tank

I share a garage with a dude who uses it for storage. The arsehole moved a bed in there and put some decent sized scratches on my tank I can't prove this, but am sure it's what happened.

I have a tank protector ( the sticker thing ) on the middle rear of the tank to prevent my jacket zip rubbing on the paint work. I've seen pics of side tank covers and think thats probably what's needed. Anyone got these on their bike or can recommend a brand and or dealership that sells them? I'm not really into the leather thank cover, but would consider anything.

have a look at some stompgrip, they do most modern bikes plus a universal kit. Just fitted some to my gixxer...easy to apply, comes in clear or black.

Go to Gary at Autostripes in Wigan Street,he will be able to hand cut anyshape you want out of clear adhesive, the same stuff car bonnet protectors are made of

    Is it a blue SV?

Pussy was selling a brand new tank a while ago- might still have it:

Failing that - PM pussy - as he knows a guy called "frenchy" who does repair jobs. I know, sounds a bit dodgy, but that's motorcycling for ya!

Do you know if he does other colours? i.e. blue If not, do you stock touch up paint kits at Wgtn Motorcycles for a K7 blue SV?

These were actually kind of what I'm after, but clear will still show the scratches, and black won't look that good on a blue bike.
