i got mine from cycletreads (oil).

they arnt exactly cheap for what they are, but they arnt expensive in terms of real dollars. I think u can get them from supercheap auto cheaper, but not 100% on this.

Air filters. What i did to mine (when it had an air filter) was cut the paper pit out of the old air filter and buy some air filter foam (from cycletreads, reasonably expensive) and cut that to fit. When you cut it, stick it in a plastic bag and add some 2 stroke oil (less than a teaspoon full). Massage it into the foam, take out of bag and wring as much oil out as possible. Then put that into the old air filter and you now have a K&N filter that is resealable / washable.

I can't find a step by steb guide but this is the basic idea

    turn this

    Fuel Filter.

The mc22 has a fuel filter inside the petrol tank. DO not put on inline. This will slow the flow of fuel to the carbs and you will likely run into problems. Why do you want to do this? Is the internal one broke?
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

    sweet thanks for the tips.

Re: fuel filter, I have two (broken :P) CBRs, one of which came with an inline fuel filter. I guess I won't use it.

I'm switching engines from one bike to the other (along with things like rearsets and levers) so I'm hoping to have a serviceable road bike in a week or so...

Yes possibly - although another aim of mine is to build a bucket racer, for which a cbr frame might be a good start. But that's pie in the sky, presently. If I end up selling stuff I'll post it on here somewhere.

Fuel filters can be bought from Supercheap. Honda charges about $80 for the fuel filter. They also charge about $115 for the air filter, so just wash it out and re oil it if it's in a good condition. Oil filters are cheap, they're only about $13 from a bike shop.

I haven't come across many paper air filters on bikes before. All my bikes have had foam filters.
