Wellington to Wanganui Boxing Day Cemetery Circuit

Invitation to join a group ride from Mana to the Cemetery Circuit race. The emerging plan is:

Meet at BP Mana (71 Mana Esplanade) or Plimmerton Weigh station from 7.30am .
Leave from BP Mana at 7.50am
Leave Plimmerton Weigh station 7.55am

Slow down outside Mobil Paraparaumu for any Kapiti riders who want to join. Traffic may be slow so this will be around 8.10am to 8.25am

Comfort stop at Mobil in Bulls for 10 minutes. Arrive in Wanganui by 10.30am.

How much traffic and how slow it will be is a bit of an unknown. Responsible and courteous passing of cages on holiday should be observed. As the revenue collectors will be about speed is planned for 105 true top speed while in a group. This allows those who get held up by traffic to be able to catch the group without needing excessive speed.

Anyone who wants to go faster is encouraged to head off at high speed and clear the road of revenue collectors for the rest of the group.

We have a fair amount of time on our side since we're leaving earlier and waking up this morning, I'm just keen to ride. Happy to hit Greys Rd and some other side roads off the beaten track if you're keen.

Great ride guys, thats the longest ride ive done so far.
Awsome to see so many bikers on the road =)

I had to turn back and head home once we got to Bulls cause of work which was dumb.
I ended up getting lost in palmy for about 10 minutes then accidently took the back roads home (SH57 i think)

Overall it was a good ride, woulda been better if it hadnt rained on the way back =(
