is <3 supposed to be a heart or an ass hat?
Leave the screw in the tyre and go for a ride.
Unless the tyre has gone flat.
Last time I had a nail in my tyre I was able to ride on it for 2 or 3 days before I got it to the shop. Never lost any pressure either.
Isn't there a reasonable chance that the nail can come flying out with centrifugal force if you keep riding on it? In fact even if it's a small chance, I wouldn't care to risk it.
OP - get a puncture kit (Genuine Innovations do a good one) and keep it under your seat.
Or just stay away from your bike at Xmas.
dont think of it as xmas hating your bike, think of it as xmas setting things up so you cant ride very far and possibly saving your life.![]()

the really happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery when on a detour.
damn, nothing like getting screwed on xmas aye....
Probably, but I'd been riding around with the nail in there for god knows how long. When I first noticed the nail and went to pull it out it was really hard to get out (had to use pliers) and the air started to come out so i pushed it back into the hole and the leak stopped.
I figured if I had a tough time digging it out with pliers, doing 50kmh for a day or two wouldnt hurt as the worst that would happen would be I would have a flat tyre that would deflate in a predictable manner.
