    Superstock 1000 'dropped'!

Any news in the rumour that they are thinking of dropping the superstock 1000 class?

Seems there is plenty of 600's but very few 1000's.

    Who's running a 1000 stocker this season?

    Me..........

James Smith, but that also is looking very tenuous and Triple R has just lost their lead rider ( Robbie Bugden ) with a broken leg. So that further raises the possibility James may go full Superbike. But that of course is Reds and Suzukis call.

Ah, that explains why I've never had a broken bone (and the fact I've never raced..)

1000cc bikes are waaaaay to dangerous to race on standard suspension. And if they are fast it means the rider feels he is immortal, out of his comfort zone, and just plain dangerous.

Ahh but full suspension mods are allowed in the regs, non of the weird 600 got to be standard looking rules here.
Mines all been sorted by the Dr.
Quite agree 1000's on over heating suspension is errr..............alarming to ride

I was taking the piss actually. If you can ride a bike hard enough to overheat a shock enough for it to be alarming why are you riding a GSX1400 and not a motogp bike?
