Farewell big city, hello quiet country...

Well, tomorrow is the day, moving back to the farm...

Just thought I'd drop a quick line on here to say 'Bye to everyone up in Auckland (and surrounding districts) that have made me feel like part of the family! It's been an adventure of a year, getting back on two wheels again, meeting SO many cool people, going on heaps of awesome rides... it's been an absolute blast! Heaps of memories (mostly good ones), over 12 thousand Km clocked up on the bike...!

I'm planning on starting to put the bike back together once I'm all settled in down on the farm, although things down there are pretty hectic at the moment so not sure how long its gonna be before I'm back on the roads again. One thing for sure though, I WILL be back! Hoping to meet the Waikato MAG crew before too long, and get out on some more rides!

To the guys and girls at Cycletreads, I can't say thank-you enough. Without you, I doubt I would have had half as much fun on my bike. Thank you for looking after me and my bike, both in the Parts department and in the Workshop. I can honestly say I think you all deserve a big pay rise! Service and advice that's second to none, and really good hot chocolates too! So again, thanks guys.

And special mention to Maha, Mom, and Fatt Max, you guys ARE family as far as I'm concerned! I wish you and your families all the best for the year ahead, and look forward to seeing you on a ride soon. Matter of fact, I'm looking forward to practicing your cornering technique, Maha! I can honestly say that the Taupo trip was the highlight of my year, thanks to you guys.

So, goodbye Auckland! Take care everyone, and ride safe!

There's some good riding to be had hereabouts...

Dont forget to stamp your passport at the end of the motorway. And welcome to the real NZ.
