MAAAATE, was into buckets right from the start ..... the HUUUUGE big bore of the mighty Horace was a real performance leveller. Bout equal to the average pencil sharpener ......... The NEXT comeback will be the sixth, so no hurry, eh ? Just need to find a pair of cows the same colour, so I can get the leathers sorted

Only a pair? I would have thought you'd need a whole herd

And the thread dies right here as those of us who know you can't type for laughing...

Kick - did you know there was a move a couple of years ago to put Budda on the 250 AJS which has been on Trademe for ages, and run him at Wyndham ?

No NEED - to this day, still hold the lap record round the original Sandpit MX track on a Vespa180 c/w sidecar while wearing slippers ( sadly, those ones have gone to God, modern replacements just dont seem to have the same load rating !!!!!!!!!

A great day all round, weather turned out bloody hot, racing seemed to run to schedule, nicely organised too. Thanks to everyone involved in putting on another great Methven Street race.

...great news...Methven is now confirmed as an annual street race on the calendar and not the every second year affair that was proposed...may even be a two day event next year with maybe Flat Track racing on the sunday...that part is yet to be discussed and confirmed...
