The aftermath of VMCC Round 2

    Hi ALl,

Just an update on Jono Wagener.
Looks like the slide he had has resulted in the following.

    1. Broken Scafoid (wrist)
    2. Hairline fracture of the hip.

We would like to take this chance to thank all those people that helped with the inicident and the repairs to the bike. Jono did get out in the next race but was unable to go through the pain barrier and retired for the day after that.

All those that enquired after him - again a big thank you. He is recovering at home and cannot even climb the stairs to the toilet. (bugga).

Hopefully he heals fast and gets back on the bike soon.

    Cheers
    Warren & Avalon.

My heart dropped to the ground when l saw it was Jono that came off before the hairpin after knowing what a shit of a day he had on Saturday with only managing to do 3 laps all day after having serious bike issues.
Knowing the amount of time he spent on checking and working out what could be wrong with his bike Saturday night and solving the problem before arriving at the track 1st thing Sunday morning made me happy knowing that he was going to have a full day of racing as the bike seem to be going well in his 2 lap scrub in session.
Jono you were doing well until your off and all l could think off when l saw you not moving when you were on the ground was this doesn't look good.
After a few minutes l saw you trying to get up and looking a little worse for wear thought at least you are in good hands with the wonderful Ambulance crew who l know would be taking good care of you.
Once l knew you were on your feet all l could think of then was letting your Father know that you were ok before he went back out for the re-start of the race just letting his mind at ease.
Jono l am so glad that you are ok besides feeling very sore and l wish you all the very best with your healing and look forward to seeing you back out there in round 3.
    Takecare.
