    Nelson crash, Nick Cain

    Hey just a quick word for those that may not be up to date with Nicks condition, he's under the knife in Chch today or as we speak to repair broken several virtabray, his head that took a big knock KO'd for an hour is showing to be fine.
    All the best nick and family, for those that dont know them ya cant get a better bunch of people.

    good read Tony, I wonder if they will now build run offs into that track... na didnt think so, turn 1 has always been a issue, yet every year thers no change, its only time aye.

    ummm, they could run in the opposite direcion like they used to, then you can hve a couple of hundred metres of run off

    the justification for the current and less safe direction is noise reduction, with exhasts facing out to sea when going down the straight, shame about the other half of the circut

    Just been in to see the wee shit, apart from heaving his lollies and jelly out hes in very good sorts op went well and in fact they want to try and mobalise him this arvo. 2 cracked verts and 1 broken in half #10 if that means anything couple a rods and a few nuts n bolts, sternam etc cracked aswell but thats sfa in comparasion.

    How often do the races run ? Most Councils now have a "Temporary Events and Filming" Rule in their District Plans.

    This rule generally gives greater leniancy in terms of noise limits.

    What might normally be a 50dBA limit can be up to 80dBA, for up to 6 events per year, and within time frames. e.g. 8.00am to 11.00pm.

    Fuck the residents !
