Languages?

How many languages do you guys speak fluently and maybe not so fluently but are able to hold a conversation in that language? Also what languages are they?

My Bro is thinking about learning a new language and I thought it was a great idea so I want to learn a new language as well. I am thinking of either French, German or Italian for now. People from thoes countries say that my accent is good and I should be able to pick them up OK, so it seems pretty exciting at the moment.

I am at the moment fluent in English, Nepali and Hindi and I can hit on girls, swear, ask for basic nessecities in German.

i spiik ingrish.
used to know a lot of French, now I just kiss that way (including Australian).
Used to know a little German, but he moved a few months ago

Je parle un peu de francais (but can't spell it very well) et pocito Espagnol. But I kinda need to be in the vision of the person communicating as I gesture eloquently in all languages.

Being of Anglo-Saxon descent I know that if I speak s l o w l y and LOUDLY enough I can make myself understood in any language.

Seriously though I would like to learn a couple of languages - Italian cos I intend to visit there, Maori cos I know they're talking about me on telly (and it would be cool to speak the indigenous language), Japanese cos I think it could be really useful.

Sort of know english, and know a couple filipino languages, learnt a little spanish at school and can't spell in any language

Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Can stumble through Spanish, Dutch and German

ummm C,Java,Python and a few others..............

oh and a spattering of Latin, real useful I know but it kept me out of having to do english in 7th form

English, Welsh, French, German & Spanish, oh and bollox, especially when pissed.

I speaka da english and I can use sign language a little bit.
But as I havent used any sign language for ages...
I have forgotton a few signs. Plus Im not that quick at it now.

I was taught "Makaton" and also "Australasian"... but now they have changed it to "NZ sign language" so its different signs to what it used to be.
