People we hate for no good reason

Does anyone else hate people that they have never met, and for no apparant reason ?

For some reason, my wife has taken up an irrational hatred of Stephen Flemming, the old NZ cricketer on those Fujitsu heatpump adverts. She's never met him, and for all I know, he might be a nice bloke, but she just can't stand the sight of him.

There used to be an actress in the "Inspector Lyndley Mysteries" on British TV that used to make my blood boil everytime she appeared on screen. She played the main charector's wife, and I know she was only acting, and she might be lovely and help little old ladies accross the road in her spare time, but I really wanted to strangle her every time she was on screen.

Are we just mad poms or does anyone else suffer the same problem??
