Jog on!

After 6 weeks of working my arse off and planning for 'our' holiday, i recieved a super duper boxing day gift of an empty house and the statement "its not working, lets try dating again

". With my kind words of reply being "jog on" and a gentle flick of 'the bird', I am now replanning 'my' holiday

.
So, as it stands im riding from Orewa to Wellington tomorrow (sunday). I'm then planning to jump on the Ferry on Monday and ride to Murchasin where a mate has brought a camping ground. From there, who knows. I dont have to back at work until the 22nd - make that the 21st for Big Day Out.

Any suggestions of places to go/stay/see?

Sounds to me you can go anywhere you friggin like, now!
Your going to the South Island....where else do you need to go!

The West Coast highway was rated one of the world's great rides.

There is the additional advantage in your situation that there's no cell phone coverage much down there.

To really see the SI you need to do a figure 8 then you get to do both Arthur's Pass and the Lewis Pass. Different to each other, both brilliant.
