A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Love coming across those types on the open road, best way to fix them is when you find a decent straight fly past em get settled stand up on the pegs undo the button on the leathers and give them a brown eye, ending the conversation.

I know what you mean, have spied me a nice orange bike down the road

Not sure if i could manage to undo me pants either, takes both hands and well, I need to hold on to my bike while riding, that's why I don't wave much.

I got me a twitch today while out riding...damn other bikers waving I gave them all the nod and a smile. My heads still twitching

Hey genie, it sure doesn't sound like you did anything wrong. There are wierdos on the road this time of year (holidays) and hopefully they will all crawl back to the cities/caves where they lurk soon. Bummer to hear of this in the Top of the South, but I guess it is getting to be a nationwide thing. Gotta agree with the "no eye contact, just ignore them" brigade. It meay not be worth the aggro if they are drugged up or just immature morons.

Miss Genie - I can't give you bling agian so soon! :-)

You're response to this man was delightful, and shows your true nature. Good on you. And it made me smile, and no doubt him react ever further. Tough titties! As you mentioned, feel sorry for his wife and kids - grumpy ass!

Looking back I think my waving and wishing him a happy day just riled him up more. Hindsight is always a good thing. If I was a big stuanch tough guy I'd really given him what for but being the lovely delicate flower I am I wished him well. Should this ever happen again I will ignore. He really was not worthy of my response and he actually did not deserve to have a nice day. He deserves to have is balls toasted like a marshmallow! Nicely skewered and rotated over a hot flame!

Orange is a great bike colour, especially in Auckland which is full of Jaffas.
