Orange is a great bike colour, especially in Auckland which is full of Jaffas.
This one has a lovely metallic finish. I think with this bike I'll take it for a test ride before I purchase, I can feel excitement building. I wonder if I was on this mean machine whether the aforementioned family man would hate me more?

Just realised, I'd need a new helmet too!

i pull all kinds of manouvres? on cars, but 1) my bike sounds bad ass-loud is good
    2) its grunty, so you aint hanging around, except when you stop for gas up the road!.
this guy who irked you, acheived exactly what he wanted to, he got on your tits, for some time it sounds.
(never said it to a girl before, it maybe has better meaning man to man).
you know what i mean tho.
and you prolly are quite accurate with your profiling, however you made no mention of his hate for the world being due to denial and regret of small weiner ownership.
which is usually a girls best attack on a mans ego.

Make sure you flutter your eyebrows and wear a short skirt. Make every effort to take his money.
An orange street triple is just what ya need and deserve.

Oh crap....just be yourself. That will do the trick!

Flutter my eyebrows, hmm wouldn't quite know how to do that and don't think that woudl go down well, was a she.

Not sure if I do want a new one right now, still need to learn how to flick the arse out on this little baby first. The little Ninja still has much to teach me. I would like better suspension and braking and power but...I'm ok for now.

I've got factory pipes that are loud so as a courtesy to other road users I sometimes, depending of the road situation, back off the throttle a bit as I swoop by.

I get overtaken by loud pipe riders when I'm caged up and don't like it much. I see/hear them coming and stick my finger in my right ear. Drilled out baffles, what a scene. When I was a kid I used to tape cardboard to my pushbike's forks and it would flap in the spokes and go brumm, brummm. Same concept.

Two zen monks were travelling. They came to a ford of a stream that was running high, and the current was strong and frightening looking. An attractive young lady was standing at the ford, looking nervous. She clearly was afraid to cross, but had an important reason to go. Without a word, the older of the two monks lifted her in his arms and waded across the stream, and placed her safely on the far bank. The younger monk looked shocked at this action, but kept his silence for quite some number of miles as they continued their journey. Finally, he blurted out "You know that it is against the rules of our order to have any contact with women. How could you do that?".

The older monk replied "I put her down when I reached the other side of the river. You, on the other hand, have been carrying her this whole way."

Today I saw something I had only ever read about and couldn't quite believe.

Today some male in his people mover got grumpy at me and flicked me the bird as I travelled past him.

I rather think he would have preferred to be on the bike, than in the people mover with the wife and kids, towing his pop-up trailer.

I think he wanted to feel the freedom of riding one's bike along various highways and byways.

I think he hadn't had sex for a while.

What ever his reasons I was shocked at his appalling behaviour and in front of his children. A terrible example to the next generation he has bred.

As I'm travelling along a country road with a speed limit of 100k's I come up behind a line of three cars and we're all now travelling at 50k. Thankfully I'm on my motorbike and being Nelson roads the two vehicles in front of me pull over to the side so I'm able to ride past without crossing the double yellow lines. All legal and travelling at about 80k. I come up behind family-man-on-holiday and I think hmm, yellow lines finishing, no on-coming traffic...wait, wait...go. accelerate past, come up to his window and this hand comes out with this finger sticking up!!!! Really, WTF, he holds up traffic and then gets irate because he is overtaken.

Me, being me, I smile, wave and yell out "have a nice day".

Now one would think this would be the end of it....but no. Two K's down the road and I'm at the lights and here he is on my right, and starts abusing me!

Fuck, this is gettting scarey, I'm only little, he's in this big people mover and he's angry at me. He starts his rant about do I think I'm special and do I have my own rules for the road. Hmmm, maybe I do, I'm on a motorcycle and there are certain things a motorbike can do that a car can't. I replied, yes I am special, smiled nicely and told him to have a nice day, lights changed and I could ride off. At this stage I'm freaking a bit more as he starts to come over to my lane, right, this is Richmond not Auckland....wtf is this man on. Meanwhile wife is staring straight ahead and the kids have their noses stuck to the windows, all looking down on me. Thank god for throttle....got away from him.

    Breathed a sigh of relief.

Too quick, the bastard's back, sitting on my arse at 70k and I'm like, stay cool girl. Turn-off ahead....go faster, turn and ..... he goes the other way, flicking the bird again....me I wave.

Really, what was the point of his aggression? What has he acheived? Me, I played it over in my mind as to whether I rode in a dangerous manner and all I get is.....what a wanker!@*&^%
Give drivers like that the "smallcock" signal (closed hand, pinky finger extended and wiggling)

Ha, it's funny in my mind, the incidence of the day is forgotten, yet here, in KB land it still lingers...kinda getting an awful smell about now.

    I'm over it.

Though now I'm here, I wonder how the wife and kids are doing, hoping they smiling.
