My first ever Album I purchased..........purely for the tight blue jeans he wore, the sexy moves ...oh and of course for the song

And then fell in love with the rest of the album
No body move... I dropped my brain

It's been revived so many times but this was my first...and I still have it up the top of my wardrobe, along with Hotel California - Eagles, Bat out of Hell - Meatloaf, Highway to Hell - ACDC and a couple of others not worthy of a mention.

1977 I had a CB450 and a beige EH Holden wagon. Cars were only just getting cassette decks as standard and FM radio was some ways off. I rigged a portable cassette deck to run 12V in the glove box of the EH and powered some household speaker boxes in the back. It rocked in a tape hiss kinda way.

Then some bastard smashed a 1/4 window and stole all my Bowie cassettes from outside the Fairfax press building.

That's all I have to say about that.

Here is my Fav' song from that Album and probably my fav abba song if I were to be honest, I just got that Dum Dum Diddle song..
I remember walking the streets of Tga with mates an Otara Brief case listening to Bat out of Hell, that talking bit before 'You took the Words right out my Mouth' was different.
And I have had that on Album/cassette and CD.

    Bought Ted Nugent Live,
    Just to hear
    "Wang Dang, Sweet Poontang"
    Tis an excellent album.

Also bought Marrianne Faithful, cause NZ radio wouldn't play
"Why you do what you did"

    An early purchase...still got it

Lots of great tracks, but I suspect it was this one that brought his voice to AC/DC's attention when Bon Scott shuffled off...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
