    Cleaning white leather jacket

I have a pink and white leather jacket - does anyone know what would be a good product to clean the dirt off the white leather and get it back to white?
I have asked in bike shops and no one knows, beyond basic cleaning and waterproofing.
I want to get the white looking white again.

"saddle soap" from an old school saddle type shop if it actually needs cleaning or you may find some leather cleaners at repco/supercheap etc.Avoid silicone tho

Saddle soap is great for general cleaning (I used to have a horse and it cleans horse sweat and stuff) but I need to get the black dirty marks off. I am assuming it is general road grime and stuff....... there are some dead bugs on there as well

    saddle soap...

Yep, saddle soap is the stuff. You should be able to scrub with a soft nailbrush to get grime off. For black marks (tar, rubber) use a cloth with a wee bit of turps on (or CRC) to get rid of the marks, then then clean off with saddle soap . Finish the job with some leather creme/ wax ...Mcguiars do a motorcycle leather creme..or any other brand.

    (avoid white nuggett or whiteners)

Very practical - high visiblilty and great to wear in the sun, not as hot as black. I wear my jacket, no matter how hot it is.
Everyone was complaining of the heat today while wearing their black jackets - I was fine in my white and pink jacket

Use a mild detergent to get rid of the dirt and then treat it with a leather conditioner, if you need to add the color back in you can buy a leather conditioner with a colour pigment in it (cant find my can otherwise would give you a name) you can get this from In Hide Leather works in Hamilton.
Ive run out of fucks to give

I'm the same with my baby blue and white M2R jacket. Some good reading here as mine is looking pretty much in need of a clean too. Thanks!
