Know how ya feel re country life, stayed at dads' place after xmas, just quick stay on way to Putararu, and on way back to home new years eve eve(30th),and the view of Mt Egmont was great,no cloud and the whispy snow peak was amazing to view.

Was totally relaxing, fixing water pump so we had water in the toilet, instead of filling from bath basin tap, putting a couple of gate breaks on the fences(turned fence off first lol),feeding and harasing his horses, horses getting own back by stomping on my toe,and nipping me as feed was to slow getting in the feed bins.Just wandering around 30 acres in fine windless naki day was bliss.

Ha I wish things were so 'relaxing' for me here, we're too freakin busy to relax.. So far I've been spraying weeds for days on end, plus milking, feeding out, looking after Mum's horses... The list goes on and seems to be never-ending! The evenings are nice though, still getting used to how quiet things are out here.

One day I'll get time to do some more work on the bike, too...
