Hrm thats a two hour ride for me. I'll see if someone else closer volunteers first. It might end up that I can't get to it at all.

Having read the auction, it sounds pretty kosher to me. That front tire will be kinda scary to ride back to aucks, especially if it rains.

Theres plenty of tread left on the front tire. It's just a scary tire to ride at 100km/hr in the wet - thats all.

Ok. Car is sold. I have 1200 definate and could possible scrounge another hundred if absolutely neccasary. so now definately looking at a bike.

Oh. I plan to have it shipped to auckland as I dont yet have all the gear or the experience for such a long ride. but I would like to have had someone personally go and take a look at it so any blatantly obvious issues im well aware of.
