coming over to NZ from HK - best gear shops to vist?

Hello!

missus mish n mr chaps is comin over to visit, next month
we live in Hong Kong -
not many good biker shops

we'll be passing thru most of the north island - in a camper van!

so where's the gear?

also a side note - how about some dirt biking? mish just passed her test here and wants to try some green lanes / dirt lanes - how can we do this - (PS we not millionaires )
