Sort of what I thought. The crowd settled down which enabled the Police to ease off ... nothing to do with them being filmed. No problems with that footage. Advance on the Police like that and you can't complain too much if you get pushed back.

My only criticism would be that the cops looked a little scattered and directionless, a senior officer should have stamped their presence upon arrival.

I would think a more assertive arrival to the incident, would have quelled any minor uprising by opportunist AGGRESSIVE drunken ho's sensing the idle and fractured police presence.

I was at a Daktory protest yesterday cnr Dominion and Balmoral Rd's....we handed out 340 pre rolled joints to cars made a huge noise with vuvuzellas.... a few under 18's turned up, but apart from that I got totalled standing on a traffic island on a major intersection, waving at mums, dads and kids smoking a joint.

The very very high group of a hundred protesting pedestrians, criss crossed the road for a couple of hours.

NOT EVEN A JAY WALK OR HINT OF AGGRESSION....

    ITS JUST A BETTER DRUG

Funniest thing I´ve seen in a while, the chunkster got what she deserved. Self defense, thats 200lb´s of angry inebriated blubber coming right at him. Failed thread scuba steve. If you can´t handle your booze don´t drink, see the same and worse in the English part of the Island where I live now, the Spanish side is the opposite, hardly ever any trouble and even though people have been out for hours there not so pissed that they´ve lost all control of their minds and bodies.
I love the smell of twin V16's in the morning..

    + 1 for failed anti-police troll.

Stupid cow deserved everything she got. It's never a smart idea to abuse people with the power to arrest you on trivialities and that are armed with tasers, pepper spray, sticks and handcuffs.

This is the thing that always makes me laugh on those Police shows like Ten-7 and the like, if half the people the cops dealt with responded to them in a civil manner I'm sure there would be a lot less grief for said people....some folks just seem to lack that poorly named thing called common sense. If it was that common surely we'd see more evidence of it?!

    Damn true.

Normally drunk when getting dealt and while I patiently speak in a low tone and calmly and they're agro, pushy and out-right threatening.

Yet one harsh word (let alone anything physical) back and oh my, how they moan..."You can't say that to me" "I want to speak to your boss" "I pay your wages" (My thoughs with that one? -"sure ya do ya unemployed loser drongo" and so it goes.. yadda...yadda..yadda...yawn...

Ok - not meant to be a wind up:

Near the end there are a couple of turkeys giving em lip, and it really looks like a bit of a stalemate. The bouncer rocks up and they leave almost immediately.

1st thought: Do the pricks have more respect for the bouncer than for the police?

2nd thought: Are they more scared of the bouncer, since he isn't likely to lose his job if he gives them a crack on camera. Unlikely since they might then charge him with assault.

3rd: Are they worried that if they don't do as they're told the bouncer won't let them back? If they're pissed they won't be thinking that far ahead.

4th: Are they friends with the bouncer, which would contribute to hypothesis 1.

Probably the first time in her life that the spoiled bitch has been told "No" and encountered the consequences of not doing as she's told.

Probably was never smacked as a child.

Don't see a problem with the police actions in the video.
