    Cheap F3 or Pre 89 Race bike for sale.

    Yamaha FZR400R in Hamilton.
    $1200 - No reserve Buy now of $1500 | Closes: Fri, 1 Jul

    Model: FZR400R 1WG
    Engine size: 400cc
    Kilometres: 46,000km
    Year: 1989

    Unfinished project, just needs fairings painting and a few loose ends tidied up.

    * 1992 3TJ Fairings and headlight
    * All steel frame parts bead-blasted and finished in 2k silver
    * Wheels finished in 2k white, good warrentable tyres
    * Fork seals renewed
    * Wheel bearing seals renewed
    * New brake pads
    * New spark plugs
    * Aftermarket carbon look indicators
    * Kawasaki ZX9 mirrors

    Currently De reg and no wof but would easly get one.
    Motor, box and clutch all in good condition and rides sweet
    Mileage seems pretty genuine after looking at owership history (did a 'lemoncheck on the VIN, can email to you if required)

    Reserve is what she owes me, need a resonably quick sale.

    If its an 89 model how can it be a pre89 racebike.

    Just checking as I don't understand/know the rules

    Apparently 89 models are allowed.

    pre89 rules are much the same as post classic rules.
    Its down to when that EXACT model was first produced.
    as an example the gsx1100z may have had a production run from 1980-1984
    as long as the 1984 bike is identical to the 1980 bike then its allowed to compete.
    To see a life newly created.To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
