    Wellington Bucket Racers!

Hey guys, an email came through from Wayne at the Kart Club about their big three day race event they run every year. They are desperately in need of sone helpers for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Even if you can only manage a half day I'm sure it would be appreciated. They can't run it without the confirmed numbers of flag marshals and other helpers and it is the events like this one that bring in the big money for the club and enable them to make the improvements to the track and pits that we're all enjoying.
So if you have some time free this Friday, Saturday or Sunday I'm sure it would be really appreciated. Give Wayne a call if you can, PM me if you don't have his number.
    Thanks all
(We did a day a few years ago, it wasn't too bad, they treated us good and were so appreciative of our help.... it didn't go unnoticed that some "Bike People" had come to help).

Yeah, it was pissing with rain but still a good day out. I'm trying to find time to help this weekend. Those who are members of the Kart club really should put in an effort as it's 'your' club.

I'm going to get out on Saturday at least. My brother might make it as well. A good idea to help out the Kart guys

I'm keen to help but I'll need a lift there and back.

Hey Trudes, Shoot me Waynes number. I'm free either Sat or Sun. Can juggle other things around when they need the most help.

I'm free on Sunday morning if they still need people.
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.

Went out there today and waved a flag.

    They do need help tomorrow.

And you get a free lunch (quite a nice chicken curry)

Heck, those cart guys know how to run an event! The day ran like clock work!! Had a great morning in the main pit tent handing out tyres and fuel. But wow wee do they know how to write rules! SOOOOO many! Regulated to the 'nth degree! Still, it works...

It's amazing eh! And we think there's a lot of rules on the normal days!

Thanks for going and helping those who did, they really do appreciate it.
