However, given the way you seem to ride, it seems the fault and misconduct is more at your end of things rather than them.

Secondly, he (the cop) was entitled to give you shit. You were using a public road and in a public place AND breaching the conditions of your licence for not wearing corrective lenses. He could have fined you for that - so in your own words, he let YOU off.

Your actions and law-breaking on the road are your own responsibility. If you get fined or whatever, it is no-ones fault but your own. Using the roads is a privilege not a right and society don't want idiots on the road. It's not your personal race track.

It's your choice if you want to be one or not. If you keep getting pulled over, its you... not the police that needs to sort your shit out. If you keep riding without regard for the rules then expect to keep up ruining your own day.
You did tell me that before didnt you...i always forget when i hear you say things like "your actions" and "choose to break law" etc. so my appologies for forgeting and "bagging" you as one of them....

I am still not very clear on what i've done wrong by walking out of gas station to go talk to my mate...so why are you talking about road not being my presonal race track and me keep getting pulled over, as i far as iam concerned that morning i DID NOT break any laws and still got treated like criminal scum and thats why i started this thread... just to point out that i was minding my own business going to track day (so i dont have to speed on public roads) and i still got treated as one of those "bad" motorcyclists that need their wings clipped...

But i guess as you said there are always some bad apples...on both sides

I think people here can't be bothered reading the whole post you put up, or if they do they already know what they are going to say.

Either that or they can;t read cos you blatantly said you weren't on your bike.
Or maybe there is a new "Walking" licence where it states you must wear glasses....

just to point out that i was minding my own business going to track day (so i dont have to speed on public roads) and i still got treated as one of those "bad" motorcyclists that need their wings clipped...

But didnt you say in an earlier post that you went out to see what was happening to your mate? So you werent minding your own business then. I will make an assumption here as well but I bet you said something to the police officer as well..something you thought was clever or witty and guess what, he decided to check you out as well. Not really a surprise then was it. Your mate got a ticket for speeding and for other offences that he had committed..so what? You stuck your oar in and got checked...moral of story...keep your nose out of other people's business and stay inside and you wouldn't have got checked...but it's the cop's fault of course.......
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead
Do not walk ahead as I may not follow.
Do not walk beside me as the path is narrow
In fact FU*K off and leave me alone

Did you stop to think before you got all stroppy with him that maybe he was being proactive and making sure he wasn't allowing a bike thief to ride away on a someone elses pride and joy?

I am having trouble figuring out exactly what the problem was here. you approached him and he asked for a few of your credentials. Gave you a small amount of advice and no tickets to speak of. Explain to me what the big deal is again????

There were no tickets to be given..i had everything up to scratch. So Iam also having trouble figuring out why did i get licence checked, why he had my bike checked and has given "friendly advice" when i wasnt even sitting on a bike in first place...realy no logical reason so all iam saying is auckland cops have hard on for bikers and thats gotta stop! ...at least while there is a south auckland full of p adicts and abused children to be taken care of...

Next time someone gets pulled over, we should all hide in a gas station and not come to see what's going on then? ESPECIALLY if it's our friend?

He got in trouble for not wearing his glasses when he wasn't on his bike? How can you get a "warning" for not doing anything wrong
