idiot. you weren t on a bike and fronted the guy and he rego/licence checked you?

your response for next time is "I am a pedestrian orifice, my name is Milo Bilo, my address is.......... and my date of birth is ...............

I am a pedestrian, these are the only details I am required to provide to you as a policemin. I just happen to enjoy dressing this way. And of course I will be wearing my glasses when operating the vehicle, per the licence conditions"

It's probably not so much that you did anything wrong, it's probably just the fact that you were exuding your usual 'wanker aura' that just begs to have shit painted on it.

Ok, you didn't have to give the cop your details etc but since you were the first offenders "mate" then I guess he'd have reasonable grounds to stop you as soon as you jumped on the bike.

Lets clarify, was your mate doing about 100 in the 70? Your statement about why the cop didn't stop the car on the inside would indicate "yes". If so, who's the copper gonna stop? Perhaps the car? Ok, so he checks the rego on his little computer or radio's comms. Car is legal. Checks the bike....no rego. Hmm...and that number plate is kinda pushing it a bit.

So the moral of the story is, if you're gonna ride without a rego, then stick to the speed limit and have a bike that appears legal. I've had run-ins with arsehole cops but I'd question who's being the arsehole in this instance. End of.

I was laughing that you thought he might have thought that... clearly not the case here

He also doesn't have the advantages you have... the cops probably forget exactly why they pulled you over, and if you even broke the law.

It's kinda their job if ya hadn't noticed, and for the record, i've been stopped a total of around 5 times in 30 years of riding and had 2 infringements in that time. Both times i just put my hands up and payed the bill. They were right so no point arguing about it. By the way, how do you get on at a road side checkpoint? Do you find this offensive also?

I don't think he actually got into troubel to be honest. He got some advice as to the wearing of his glasses and that would be about it. Still don't get what the big deal is!

Just wondering if you want some fish...................to go with the chip or chips you clearly have on your shoulder....yes you do have the right to talk to your mate but guess what if he is being spoken to by Police and you decide to go and (using your words) see what was happening, then expect to be asked for your details as well.

yeah trust the police, there are no bad eggs there. Oh hold that's not what the report and cases like Arthur Alan Thomas said. So who does police the police if it's not by public pressure. The government wont as long as they act the why the government wants. Respect is a 2 way street and IF he wasn't doing anything wrong by being a pedestrian with out glass then why should he be hassled, unless the cop wants to also be hassled for just being a cop

I got pinged by a camera on the way down on sunday. sun blinded going thru the newmarket bridge carry-on, about 85 in a 70 zone, doh. 1st ticket Ive had with the hayabusa, but its a shame it was on the back of the ute at the time. That was preying on people blinded by morning sun and concentrating on not crashing rather than temporary limits, bad show mr 5 oh.

That was a great plate mount on the bike. very ingenious with the roller bearing. For what its worth, well done sir.

Its a shame that some vehicle laws are subjective on the discretion of the officer.

By the way, if you didnt already know it,

2 wheels = guilty of something

add some skull and crossbones stickers and see how you get on

btw, nice to meet you 2 in the suspension tent

I hope it was a rear facing camera 'cos I never saw it. I get quite a few K band alerts around the bus stations so I tend to ignore those on the MW. And now I can't remember if it alerted through there or not.
    What part of for(int i=0xC02;putchar((i&7)+69)&&(i>>=3); ); don't you understand?
