    Passed 6F in Kilbirnie!

One of those things when you have to tell the world eh?

Had the friendly chap with the moustache (same guy as my 6R in Kilbirnie), who followed me in a ute. The earpiece was good, no problems there. Just drove around the streets of Kilbirnie/Lyall Bay for a while, identified hazards, then drove around the airport, along Evans Bay parade and back. Probably 30-35 mins.

The only thing you have to practice are tight u-turns in Palm Ave, Lyall Bay. It's pretty narrow. Worth going there beforehand and trying it I reckon!

Nah not hard eh! Funny thing is I knew it wouldn't be hard, but still got nervous!

Before the test I thought "no hurry to get a bigger bike" but now with the knowledge I can ride whatever I want, I am reconsidering. A nice Suzuki GSR600 looks pretty tempting...

Passed the 6F from Kilbirnie yesterday. Picked a great day with the forecast storm, but aside from getting wet on the way to the test, the rain had blown away by the time I actually sat the test. Was pretty windy but perfectly manageable.

I'd been practicing u-turns in Palm Ave after simpy1's heads-up, and that is indeed a narrow street, but in the end he got me to do one one on Wha St which is really, really wide. From there, we went left along Lyall Bay waterfront, turning left again into Tirangi Rd down by the Warehouse. Made our way to Cobham drive turning right toward the airport and down Calabar Rd, around the roundabout down the end by the Z station\Burger King to come back the other way.

Two lane changes on the two sections of Cobham Drive before turning left into Evans Bay Parade and back to the testing centre.

All in all, about 20 minutes riding time.

Nice congratz, great news alright. Yea those U turns I almost blew it on my R, I just about put my foot on the road and realized ooops throttle, I have a bad habbit of only using mirrors and not looking over my shoulder before turning naughty naughty gotta to snap outta that.
