It was the last point where it all fell over.
the discalimer and the fact that a much bigger bike was being ridden around the track

I saw a 250cc bike on trademe being sold with a picture of the YOUNG guy ridding around Mt Wellington (he was short and older than stroudy's son)

makes you think that it may have been more than one person involved

Much bigger bike without nylon crash protection to save the track from damage in the case of a spill, just a well known wanker being thoughtless ............

It'd be pretty easy to think oh he has the key, it must be ok.

Just saying, probably not strouds fault, more so the person that let him in.

EDIT - *MIGHT NOT be his fault
Cobblers! He knows the rules and he has done the same thing a few years ago and was lucky not to be nicked for tresspass.

The BUCKET PERSON who let A.S. and his mates in should also be named and shamed and imo banned from the track to show the kart club the Bucket contingent of the AMCC's stance in this matter.

It is douchebags like these guys that make the rest of us look bad.

    .

No Bucket person involved, I understand he let himself and a few friends in. easy to do, just front up to the key holders, claim to be a Bucket rider wanting to do some testing/practice, pay the $20, sign the paper and get a key.

Go to the track and if your a fuckw---t act like a loon, hog the track so the kart guys who turn up can't get on and let a your mates have a blast with their road bikes.

They trusted the Bucket crowd to share with the karters, respect the track and do the right thing, thats changed now...........

If it wasn't bucket races being fwits, why are they getting the blame and being punished.

We had a similar incident not long ago where some bike riders were not letting kart people on the track. Turned out they were not bucket riders, just had a key or were friends with or raced karts themselves.
End result was no issue with the bucket group.

So why is this situation being treated differently.

Because the incident in question did involve a bucket racer. Albeit one that doesn't seem to turn up any more.

How about hearing from the accused and his side?

    Once we have is it possible if required for some sort of consequences like;

Loss of racing license for 3 months.

    Loss of competition points.

    Black flagged for a year.

    Publicly denounced.

Contacting his sponsors and ask them if they are happy sponsoring someone who is willing to ruin it for a lot of other people.

I look at it this way, had I done something inappropriate on a big track which effected him and his mates all shit would hit the fan.
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.

So sad to read this thread. I would have loved to rock up to the kart track any time for some fun. Fuck, what a pity.

Anything that can be done to gain back trust?

I guess I am not making my point clear what i am trying saying is if a biker is doing wrong the karting guys are not going to define you guys as being different.A bike is a Bike to most of them. The clear message that needs to be sent is you the buckets are not associated with this guy.His actions offend you as buckets and you the bucketeers think he should be excluded.the Tresspass notice is the clearest message I can think of,
