    XR600 lighting

OK gents its an 93 XR600 the stators putting out 90w and the stock headlight is 35w, ive got and acerbis headlamp at 35w but will take a 55w but not enough output so im thinking that this might remedy it so i can run the 55w head lamp so i can see a little better.

ive got led blinks (2x1w) on the rear and orderd an led tail bulb (1.5w) -
and the old gear was blinks 2x5w and tail 23w so i figure thats gained me 29.5w me thinks.
so if thats the case then i should be able to up the headlight from 35w to 55w does that sound about right? ? ?

    old - 5w+5w+23+35 =68w of lighting
    new - 1w+1w+1.5w+55w =58.5w of lighting

i do most things on the bike but leckys just confuse me

You've forgotten to factor in the brake light so you'll be well under existing draw. Otherwise, all good.

The reg/rec are a bit flakey on the XRs of that vintage.
If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!
