    yes this kit sound reasonable to me i do that but a complete kit you should be able to weld this any good alloy welder will fix that not problems as long as the seat where the spring sits is level with all the others ie no weld where the spring sit gring it all back to level

    Back on the road again

    Well, long story short, I had an engineer fabricate up a new clutch release plate a couple of mm thicker than the original (on diesel pig's advice, thanks DP). It's now back on the bike with no trouble at all.

    Also, turned out that the bearing the pushrod pushes was worn out - replaced that and after the new gasket turned up yesterday I stuck it all back together and it's working better than ever.
