Why would you ever need more than a 250?

4 strokes are nice and reliable but a little boring and safe, well I haven't ridden a modern 600/1000 so I'm sure they dont seem like that

Coro Loop just under 10L per 100km
On the Motorway from Coro Loop ~6L per 100km
