Accommodation in Christchurch weekend of 19 Nov 2011?

Hi peeps. My eldest son is getting married in CHCH sat Nov 19th. We have 4 elderly( in their late 70's) family flying over from UK for this for a cple of days before and a cple of days after. Can anyone recommend a place to stay, maybe a House to rent for around 5 days/ house sitting. There will also be 3 of us from Bay of Plenty coming down.

Maybe someone needs a house looked after?

    thanks

Mmmm. Lots of vacant houses in Christchurch there are. Unfortunately they don't all have 4 walls.

So how many people in all and how many bedrooms required?

    haha

well id prefer a house thats 'all there'

there is my wife, young son and me for 1 room. (3)
    my folks(late 70's)
    mother in law
    my aunt. ( 70s)

so a 4 bedroom place would be preferable. thats 7 of us in all.

Consider the YMCA, central and cheap. guaranteed clean and tidy.

Stayed there a couple of weeks ago. impressed

Consider advertising for something like a house-swap in the paper. May get you what you want.
