Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

This is from home in Bishkek....when working from the minesite we need to wait for the donkeys to carry the bytes down the pass to the lake where they are transcribed onto papyrus, burried in a peat bog for 6 months dug up and sent as a semaphore flag message accross the lake...to the telegraph post where is is converted to morse for the 300km cable journey to bishkek....where it finally goes digital.....

Thats why I only really spend time on KB when at home.

Don't even start with me. Steam blew my data cap this month. 64 Kb/s is like having hot needles constantly driven into my eyes.

Apparently i live in an ADSL2+ area yet my speeds don't reflect that. The flat is with Telecom on the adventure package which is apparently "adsl2+ enabled". Router is also ADSL2+ capable. What the hell do i do?

You'll need to shift closer to a cabinet ... or wait until your area has been cabnitised. The contractor that does this is Chorus. Somewhere on their site is a list of who has been done, and who is left to be done.

My service quality has changed from an 'F' to an 'A'.

    This makes a huge difference.
