    Angry Fucking ACC mother fuckers!

    As if these cocks don't tax me enough on two motorbikes (and a cage), they have now just sent me a bill for more, on the money I earn selling advertising on this site to keep it running.

    Is this for fucking real??

    I seriously doubt that if I needed hospital treatment, that the quality of NZ healthcare would match the money we pay for it.

    At least if you get a Really Silly Injury (RSI) when working on the site you can claim 80% or your income ...

    I don't understand this threads topic...sorry for being dumb....

    KB is a website and sells advertising
    If there is a profit, like any business there is a tax to pay

    How does this relate to ACC levy's?
    I just don't see the link somehow. Have they hit you an ACC levy on those earnings, is that the case?
    Just ride.

    Income liable for ACC earners' levy

    Income liable for earners' levy includes:

    * salary and wages (overtime, backpay, holiday pay, long service leave, bonuses or gratuities and taxable allowances)
    * shareholder-employee salaries
    * salaries to partners in a partnership
    * income from self employment.

    Income not liable for ACC earners' levy

    Income not liable for earners' levy includes:

    * retirement payments
    * redundancy payments
    * non-taxable allowances
    * rents
    * interest and dividends
    * estate and trust income
    * royalties
    * income for a partnership earned by a non-working partner
    * jury fees
    * witness fees
    * taxable and non-taxable pensions.

    Spank, sounds like you need to put the website in a trust
    Or at least in a company that doesn't pay you any wages/salary but dividends from your shareholding in it

    How many times do I have to pay ACC? Four times is three times too many. Make it one single fee for everyone.

    You pay GST to earn it, then pay Grab Smash Testicles when you spend it. double hit!

    Perhaps you could ask ACC to set up a special committee for the safety of internet forum providers, then pay yourself some of your tax back?
