2001 Yamaha R1 Headlight assy

I am in need of a headlight assembly for my 2001 R1, unfortunately my bike fell off the trailer at 35kph and has made a bit of a mess

There's bugger all on th' net.

ebay usually has something. I made a nice replacement for my R6 headlight out of two half-broken ones a few years back.

Here's a new one or this might be a cheaper option.

I have seen these and sent one of the guys a message. These are for left hand drive bikes (if there is such a thing?)

As they are located in the old US of A the beam shines in the wrong direction.

I have a mate who knows a plastic welder, so I'm going to let him have a look before I take the plunge.

On another note, I also needed a brake fluid tank...$90 from NZ (Yamaha dealer) and have one posted from US for $50. Seems like we are getting ripped of here.
