I did - but got the same result both times....do you think for the bigger bike I should make my weight heavier,or lighter??....I'm confused, does it have to be this hard?

    How about around Catalunya?
Sete Gibernau has the fastest lap of 1.42.337, Juan Montoya in 2004 recorded 1.14.804, 28 seconds faster, he'd be lapping Sete after only 4 laps!!!!!

Also, the power to weight ratio is mainly related to acceleration. You need to know the power to drag ratio for top speed.
It's actually got more to do with traction. The car passed the bike in the corner...

    BULLSEYE - exactly right!

If he hated bikes, he'd be giving his two offsiders a lot more graif than he does right now - they both ride bikes!

He's good at selling and he's a great personality and host.

He gives as good as he gets... I say it's a mutual windup session? He makes himself the target of ridicule (remember the german woman driving the diesel merc around nurburgring?). They made a huge joke at his personal expense... turns out she was a professional driver.

Do you think he knew that ahead of time? Of course he did, did she make a mockery of his best driving efforts? Of course she did, dod he air the footage anyway?

... I think it speaks for itself.

I like the guy and take it on the chin when he dishes out the grief - he takes it back in turn.

    Where's the harm?

I think so - can't recall specifically... my point is that she made mincemeat out of his time, he knew damned well she would ahead of time, and they set it all up and filmed it anyway.

We all had a laugh at his expense... and he knew we would. He's not such a bad guy (IMHO)

So a little research on the net, and I kinda figured that the CBR600RR puts out 601.45hp/p/t. Have I got that right? The bike puts out 101bhp and weighs 168kgs. Could someone check that for me, and see if I got it right?

And if so, is it still fair to put that car against that bike? I thought a CBR thou would be a better match, but the hp-to-tonne would be out, and thus be a little unfair... think this is the base for all car vs bike matches?
It is fair because they ought to have similar accelerative powers with similar hp/t, and all you are comparing against is cornering power. However, the CBR ought to have then a decent aftermarket suspension system and very good tyres.
