Moto Guzzi Rally - Tattley Rappet

Hi all,
Just a note if there is anyone local we have the following info:

Funeral arrangements have been made with Miles Hunter’s family.

The service will be at the RNZAF Base Woodbourne Delta Lounge at 3:00 pm on Friday the

12th August 2011.

The service will end with a motorcycle escort from the front of the Delta Lounge to Blenheim.

farking Iti's... bikes sat for a month or so but on the battary minder, last time I ran it was after a service, just putted round the blockafter... but today as we are on the move I had to take it to thunders for storage, bastard thing is only running on 1 n a half, fine at low revs but missing up a bit, *HUMPH* did it not like sitting, did I fark the valve clearances up, did I fit a dud plug, loose wire... shit could be a milloion things, so when thats 'when' I get the chance Ill pull it apart again and start from the begining.

Will it start? - (every morning)
What bulb/fuse just blew?
Is that an extra rattle I hear?

yeah well had the chance yesterday to re check valve clearances, all good as I expected, all wiring and plumbing as Id expect however the new plugs were a bit loose... reasembled and well bitch of a thing is all well again so either it had a shit on with me the other day or a loose plug (not 'that' loose was the issue.

Rear brake pads are ordered for the Cali so bike will be all set to go. Registration form and cheque in the mail tomorrow, (almost forgot)

Looking forward to our first Guzzi rally. Won't be there until Saturday morning as we cannot get away until after work on Friday. Roll on Labour weekend!!!
