four hours ago NASA released news of a huge spewing hole in the Sun that is turning to face earth as we speak.....

seems we can expect CMEs -Coronal Mass Ejections to hit earth within days!
that means, goodbye to all your data stored in chips or hard drives at the least!
maybe even dramatic weather worldwide and the odd earthquake or 7 and eruptions too.

I just dug up this collabarative report from another source which gives background into CMEs and their effects

written four years ago about these times -it outlines the effects and liklyhood of CMEs.
