Depends on the model of GoPro the SD ones were shit for wind, and the older HD ones weren't to flash either the newer model HD cams are alot better, but if your gonna use it on your head, you put on the little door with the holes in it, cuts out the wind but you can hear everything alot better, otherwise stick it close to the bike and leave the waterproof door on.

The mechanics are the same nonetheless. You have to give it give it enough mechanical noise to gain with - then it works well.
Still have not had the go pro on the bike yet but if it's mechanical noise that's required my bike has it well covered. Bag of hammers springs to mind.

On the engine bars works better than the handlebars. Helmet mounts are my last resort. I only wear it if the bike vibes too much or there is nowhere else to mount it.
Works OK for racing - big action stuff, but for road riding on your mellon takes the lean and feeling of speed out of it. Harder to get the bike noise too.

The chest mounting harness seems to give the best onboard aspect on a bike. Next purchase.

I've stuck the suction cup onto the fairing, seems to hold real tight. Would be easier to rip off the fairing panel than the sucker. Just have to see if it's affected by vibrations or bird strike..

The handlebar mounting kit is good too. You can even stick it on footpegs.
