Any Mitzi cage mechanics out there?

4G63T was from the Evolution model Lancers, E39A VR4 and the RVR Turbo models.
I am surprised it has bent valves though, as last time I heard the majority of the 4G63 motors were non interference engines.

All 4 pistons have marks in them from all 8 exhaust valves. Not bad marks but waiting for a second opinion from someone more knowlegable. Haven't checked the valves for leakage yet. Had compression on 2 cylinders before the strip down so hopefully it may only be 2-3 valves.

If you have got some ugly leakage you may find it easier and cheaper to grab another 4G63 head, the twin cams are dime a dozen.

Ok, I have 2 pots with leaks. How do I tell which valve is leaking or do I change both inlet valves on the pot. Thankfully only the inlet valves have hit so no need touch the exhausts.

Ok. Anyone in the Welly region who could possible loan me a Valve spring compresser clamp. Don't really want to fork out $80 for something I'm probably never going to use again.
