    GO the staunch truckie!

I saw something classic a couple of days back and just had to share. I was in the car crawling up the Stanley Street motorway on-ramp, it was rush hour so pretty chocka. Ya know how there is the extra lane on the left expressly for trucks? Well I was passing the time looking around and in my rear vision I noticed a few trucks come barrelling up the lane before thundering past me and then this one truck stopped. I thought "bummer buck thats a shit of a place to break down".

I could see that there was another truck behind it and then when I looked again I saw that directly behind the 'broken down' truck there was a car.

I started to smile as I watched the truckie get out of his cab and walk down to the car and then he started to abuse the driver, his arms were waving about and he was clearly telling the car driver to get the fluck out of the TRUCK lane.

When the arm waving began I just started laughing and actually said out loud "good for you mate!". It made the journey home more enjoyable and I was still laughing about it when I got to my off-ramp.

    GO you good thing!!!!

I'm still trying to figure out why you were stuck in the cage, in rush hour traffic with all the other jokers, when you've got a prefectly good bike that wants ridin.....

I presume that the "truck" lane is clearly identified as such and not just some local "understanding" that it is reserved for trucks only use!

The car driver could have been a stranger caught out through their unfamiliarity with the area!

YEP! its very clear, and if the driver was confused by the trucks only sign then surely the fact that it was just trucks using it and the other 2 lanes were chocka with cars might have been a bit of a hint? Nah, for sure it was some plonker who thought he was better than everyone else and didn't give a shit LOL

I just thought it was hilarious that the truckie actually stopped and got out of the truck to REALLY make his point.

I do like it when a Lycra clad skinny peddler starts abusing a big fat smell hairy biker for being in the cycle lane at lights

I guess they just hate stopping as it takes lots of effort to get back up to speed

but bikes are allowed in bus lanes. Unless it was a bus only lane.
